Salvation Mountain

I met up with Adan when I was in LA this last time; he is an old friend from San Francisco whom I hadn't seen in ages (but who is coming to Mexico to visit me in a couple of weeks!). We decided to spend the day at Slab City and Salvation Mountain in the dessert outside LA; it was a beautiful, and surreal, day, as the photos might attest! The people there were lovely, and recommended we go to a nearby canal to swim in the water and take in the dessert view. The following few entries are of our adventure in the canal!
