Not long ago, I was commissioned to paint a portrait in Monterrey, Northern Mexico, by a generous collector. He paid for my flight up there, and put me up in a really beautiful hotel, just for a night and an afternoon; the time I needed to take his photos, as I was in a hurry to get home to work on a music video for which the costumes were soon to be due. The hotel room was beautiful, and I took a bunch of photos of myself using my timer as I didn't want to waste the handsome space.
